Academic Teams - Kitty Hawk/APT/Medical Careers

The JROTC Leadership & Academic Bowl (JLAB) is a nationally recognized academic competition created exclusively for JROTC students. Cadets who participate will test their knowledge and leadership skills through competing in a series of rounds against other JLAB teams. 

 Kitty Hawk JLAB Competition: 

Cadets participated in Academic competition under the leadership of Team Leader Cadet Katelyn Hardy.

Awareness Presentation Team (APT) at Martin County High School: 

APT provides a great way to work on and hone public speaking skills. 

 APT visit Hidden Oaks Middle School:

MCHS JROTC has partnered with Hidden Oaks Middle School to create the Flying Shark Club for any students interested in learning more about JROTC or the military. 

Strategic Games Club

• Can Help Your Focus.
• Develops Creativity.
• Builds Confidence.

Cadets will be awarded the Activities Ribbon once they have attended (10) Strategic Games Club meetings and practices. 

Medical Careers Club

Focus on exploring the medical career field. Cadets participate in tours of medical facilities such as the Veteran's Affairs Hospital and train to get CPR qualified.
