JROTC Instructors
David Cortez, Lieutenant Colonel (USAF ret)
Lt Col David A. Cortez, USAF (Ret), is the Senior Aerospace Science Instructor (SASI) at Martin County High School, Stuart, Florida. He is responsible for all leadership, aerospace science and wellness instruction at AFJROTC FL-937. A career Security Forces Officer, he has held various positions as instructor (Air & Space Basic Course and Officer Training School), Protocol Officer (Air Logistics Center Warner Robins), Chief, Commander’s Action Group (Squadron Officer College), civilian Police Officer (City of Dallas, Texas and City of Arlington, Texas), and served as the Holm Center Inspector General until he retired in January, 2023.

TSgt Chamberlain (USAF ret)
TSgt Scott Chamberlain, USAF (Ret), is the current Aerospace Science Instructor (ASI) for AFJROTC FL-937. A career Aviation Resource Craftsman, has held various positions as Superintendent (Aviation Operations), Fighter Wing XP (Plans and Programs), civilian Police Officer (Brevard County Sheriff's Office and Indialantic, FL), and was an Instructional Aide at Brevard Public schools where he worked with and instructed General Education and Exceptional Education students until he joined Martin County High School in November, 2023. TSgt Chamberlain will be working as the ASI for Eau Gallie HS Air Force JROTC starting Fall, 2025.
TSgt Tasha Gresco has been selected as the next ASI for MCHS AFJROTC FL937 starting School Year 2025-2026.
