The Education Foundation of Martin County (EFMC) is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3), community investment organization comprised of business leaders, community volunteers, and school officials. The EFMC is considered the strategic non-profit partner of the Martin County School District.
The Foundation strives to increase community involvement and financial support of the educational process, encourage effective instruction, strengthen student motivation, promote academic achievement, and create initiatives that support dedicated and creative teachers; thus, supporting excellence in education!

Level I Volunteer: for volunteer applicants who will work with students in a supervised manner (in sight at all times of MCSD staff).
Level II Volunteer: for volunteer applicants who will work with students in an unsupervised manner (out of sight or hearing of MCSD staff).
This is for all other activities including: Volunteer Athletic Coaches, Volunteer Drivers, field trip chaperones (except for Environmental Studies Center), ESC CIT's and summer camp volunteers.
