Drill Team member is a cadet that embodies the Corp values of “Integrity First, Service before Self, and Excellence in all we do”. This member shows excellent attention to detail, exceptional moral character, military bearing, and is in good standing with AFJROTC.
Cadets will participate in drill performances in school, community events, and drill competitions. Example of drill events includes parades, ceremonies, school visits, and drill competitions. Cadets will actively participate in color guard, armed, and saber drill events.
Weekly Practice on
Mondays and Wednesdays
from 3:15 pm to 4:15 pm
Armed Drill- Cadets will be awarded the Armed Drill Ribbon after (10) practices, passing drill evaluation of 15-count manual of arms, first 12-movements of exhibition drill, and participated in (2) drill events.
Saber Team- Cadets will be awarded the Saber Ribbon after completing (10) practices, passing saber drill evaluation and participated in (2) saber events.
Color Guard- Cadets will be awarded the Color Guard Ribbon after completing (10) practices, (4) Color Guard Events (2 rifles and 2 flag bearers) and must maintain 90% on uniform inspections.
